Switching tracks.

On January 31, 2012 at 2:15 pm, I withdrew my candidacy for Louisville Metro Council. With 3 other candidates on the ballot, voters have choices. I believe we deserve choice in who we send to Frankfort, too.

So at 4 PM, I was in Frankfort at the Secretary of State's office, filing to be a candidate in the Democratic Primary for State Senator District 35. (Secretary of State)
Also, Dan Johnson did file for the 37th. He was leaving as I arrived.

If anything, this race will not be boring.
My campaign website? SenatorAwesome.com. This is the website I had for the Metro Council race, only I kept the issues up that apply to Frankfort, but I expect to be adding more issues in the coming weeks so please check back.

The twitter name, @SenatorAwesome, of course.

I haven't got it all together yet, but be patient. You know I will.

Occupy Louisville News: IPL has made a permit offer to Occupy Louisville that they were considering at tonight's GA, which I couldn't make. My friend Lark, who was there, says there was a lot of input and discussion, so much in fact they didn't finish and there's another GA tomorrow at 4 pm.
